Generate sounds with the Synth Engine
Describe a sound in plain words — 808 kick, glassy bell, acid 303 bass — and the on-device Synth Engine generates it. Audition, try again for a fresh take, or drop it on a pad.
Sample anything, generate sounds with the Synth Engine, and build beats on eight pads. Tactus MK1 is a pocket-sized sampler for iPhone.
iPhone only. Free during the TestFlight beta.
Eight pads, four screens, and a full mix — all on your iPhone.

Hold a pad to sample straight from the mic. Stack layers on top, or run your voice through the vocoder for a robotized synth.
Tap the 4x2 grid to perform. The same eight sounds follow you across the Sample, Play, and Step screens.
Per-pad filter cutoff and resonance on an XY pad, plus volume, delay, drive, reverb, and pitch. One-shot or sustain.
A 16-step sequencer with a moving playhead. Add bars, then build verse, chorus, and fill as separate patterns that switch cleanly at the loop.
Master volume with an output meter, reverb presets, tempo-synced delay, and a limiter that keeps the output clean. Tap to set the tempo.
Arm record and play — your pad hits and knob moves are captured and replay on the next loop. Quantize snaps them to the grid.
Projects auto-save as you work. Render a pattern onto a pad, bounce it to audio, or export the whole project to back up or share.
